When you place an order through our website you agree to the terms and conditions listed below, we have nothing unusual or out of the ordinary but please feel free to read through them and contact us if you have any questions or need clarification on a certain point or detail.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, payment is processed by PaymentSense or by Paypal. We do not have access to your actual card details neither do we hold them on file.
Confirmation of order
When your confirmation of order email is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
VAT Charges
All of the products on our website are inclusive of VAT @ 20%.
Guarantee
In addition to your statutory rights we offer a full one year guarantee on all solid state furniture, this covers your item/s against any structural defects in the first 12 months. If you have a problem with your item please email info@tansleyteak.co.ukand we’ll do our best to resolve the issue as soon as possible. The guarantee doesn’t cover normal wear and tear, end grain checking, accidental damage or commercial use. We will either repair or replace your item free of charge as long as you return it to us within 12 months of purchasing it. We do ask that you arrange the return postage and send it with either a copy of your purchase invoice or your original order number. We will return the repaired/replaced item to you free of charge.
If you have any problems with your item after the 12 month period – please still contact us, we’ll do our best to help.
Returns
In the very rare case that you would like to return your item/s under the Distance Selling Regulations then you must email us in the first instance at info@tansleyteak.co.ukthis must be done within 7 days of your item being delivered. You must then return the item to us so that it arrives at our returns address within a maximum of 14 days after the day you notified us of you intention to return your item/s. We will refund you the purchase price including any delivery charge (if applicable). You (the customer) are responsible for all carriage costs associated with returning the item to us. If you return goods to us we reserve the right to either refuse the return or to charge you for our reasonable costs if they arrive damaged, used or without the original packaging. We recommend you send the item/s with full insurance cover as you are responsible for the item/s until they arrive with us. All deliveries must be “booked in” by your designated courier with our head office, this can be done by your courier by calling 01629 593893 they will need to quote your returns number when they call. If you have any questions regarding returns please email us before placing your order.
Delivery Policy
Delivery will usually be made within 28 days of order unless otherwise stated in the item description. Delivery will usually be by our own in house service and will be arranged with you beforehand. In some cases we may use a fully insured trusted carrier to deliver your goods. Our standard delivery service is a one-man ‘to the kerb’ service. However our driver will usually be able to assist you in placing the item ‘in-situ’. Please contact us before arranging delivery if you’d like this service.
Privacy Policy
Tansley Teak do not disclose buyers' information to any third parties other than when order details are passed to a courier service so that your parcel can be delivered.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.
